A Silver Nanocluster Assembled by a Superatomic Building Unit

open access: yesInorganic Chemistry
A unique assembly of a two-electron superatom, [Ag10{S2P(OiPr)2}8], as a primary building unit in the construction of a supramolecule [Ag10{S2P(OiPr)2}8]2(μ-4,4'-bpy) through a 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bpy) linker is reported. This approach is facilitated by an open site in the structure that allows for effective pairing.

Interfacial Charge‐Transfer Enhancement via High‐Entropy Alloy Regulated MXene Heterostructures for Asymmetric Supercapacitor Applications

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A novel core‐shell HEA@MXene composite was synthesized to enhance supercapacitor electrochemistry. DFT simulations reveal the role of HEA doping in regulating the MXene interface. The HEA@MXene composite exhibits a high specific capacitance of 872 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 with remarkable stability in 1 M KOH.

Cobalt Single‐Atom Sites Engineered in Poly(Heptazine Imide) Photocathodes as Benchmark for Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution: A Comparative Transition Metal Study

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Cobalt single‐atoms in poly(heptazine imide) photocathodes maximize active‐site availability and outperform Fe, Cu, and Na in alkaline hydrogen evolution. Atomic precision (not bulk loading) proves predominance, establishing a design principle for the next generation of solar fuel devices.
