Very high and very low Fisher information for small displacements of a plasmonic silver nanowire
In this paper, we study the effects of plasmonic resonances on the Fisher information in the far field, of the position of a silver nanowire with respect to the center of a focused spot.

Advances in Halide Perovskites for Photon Radiation Detectors
This work highlights recent progress in perovskite‐based photon radiation detectors, covering organic–inorganic hybrid, inorganic, lead‐free double, and vacancy‐ordered halide perovskites. Their detection performance is compared, material‐specific advantages and challenges are examined, and provides insight into current limitations and future ...

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Growth behavior and field emission property of ZnO nanowire arrays on Au and Ag films
We propose a facile method to control the growth and areal density of zinc-oxide (ZnO) nanowire arrays using gold or silver films deposited on aluminum-doped ZnO (AZO) layers coated on glass substrates. Nanowires exceeding 5 μm in length grew on both the

Analysis of Electromagnetic Field Interactions on Silver Nanospheres and Silver Nanowires
In this work, silver nanospheres and silver nanowires (AgNWs), which are essential in most applications in biosensing, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), and nanoplasmonics, are modeled in computer environment. The modeling includes the assessment of the nanoparticle's absorptions and extinctions.

One‐dimensional C4N2H14PbBr4 is shown to have a quasi‐direct electronic band structure and strongly anisotropic transport with polarized broadband emission. A GW/Bethe–Salpeter excited‐state force formalism, supported by polarized Raman and temperature‐dependent photoluminescence, identifies low–frequency Pb–Br phonons that drive ultrafast exciton self‐
