LE SIMAC : UTILISATION AVEC UNE PLAQUE PHOTOGRAPHIQUE OU UNE CAMÉRA ÉLECTRONIQUE

open access: yesJournal De Physique Colloque, 1967

Improving the Phosphoproteome Coverage for Limited Sample Amounts Using TiO2-SIMAC-HILIC (TiSH) Phosphopeptide Enrichment and Fractionation

open access: yesMethods in Molecular Biology, 2016
Obtaining high phosphoproteome coverage requires specific enrichment of phosphorylated peptides from the often extremely complex peptide mixtures generated by proteolytic digestion of biological samples, as well as extensive chromatographic fractionation prior to liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis. Due to the sample loss

Recent progress in the interferential multichannel spectrograph:  SIMAC

Nouvelle Revue D'Optique, 1974
- Introduction. The SIMAC [1], [2] is constituted by the association of a Fabry-Perot Interferometer and a large aperture spectrograph [F/2]. This allows it to achieve a very high resolution (8.105 to 106) with a very short time of exposure. Its constitution leads to a semi-sequential recording process so that a linear dispersion is obtained on the ...

AN IMPROVED MAC METHOD (SIMAC) FOR UNSTEADY HIGH-REYNOLDS FREE SURFACE FLOWS

International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, 1997
A modified MAC method (SIMAC; semi-implicit marker and cell) is proposed which accurately treats unsteady high-Reynolds free surface problems. SIMAC solves the Navier-Stokes equations in primitive variables on a non-uniform staggered Cartesian grid by means of a finite difference scheme.

The Multidisciplinary Scientific Information Support System (SIMAC) for Deception Island

2006
Spain has been taking part in Antarctic research through annual austral summer campaigns since 1987. The volcanic Deception Island in the South Shetland Islands is one of the main working areas. The information collected is numerous and diverse so in many cases is the same one.

MO-DE-BRA-02: SIMAC: A Simulation Tool for Teaching Linear Accelerator Physics

Medical Physics, 2016
Purpose:The first goal of this work is to develop software that can simulate the physics of linear accelerators (linac). The second goal is to show that this simulation tool is effective in teaching linac physics to medical physicists and linac service engineers. Methods:Linacs were modeled using analytical expressions that can correctly describe the ...

Performance of SIMAC algorithm suite for tactical missile warning

Proceedings of SPIE, 2009
Self protection of airborne assets has been important to the Air Force and DoD community for many years. The greatest threats to aircraft continue to be man portable air defense missiles and ground fire. AFRL has been pursuing a near-IR sensor approach that has shown to have better performance than midwave IR systems with much lower costs.

Sequential Elution from IMAC (SIMAC): An Efficient Method for Enrichment and Separation of Mono- and Multi-phosphorylated Peptides

Methods in Molecular Biology, 2016
Phosphoproteomics relies on methods for efficient purification and sequencing of phosphopeptides from highly complex biological systems, especially when using low amounts of starting material. Current methods for phosphopeptide enrichment, e.g., Immobilized Metal ion Affinity Chromatography and titanium dioxide chromatography provide varying degrees of

Improving the Performance of Profiles Straightener SIMAC RD750 on Rolling Mill HCC at ArcellorMittal

Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering, 2014
In the process of manufacturing rolled steel profiles is straightening of cooled profiles a very important part of the production. In order to increase production efficiency, on heavy rolling mill at ArcelorMittal Ostrava, a study was created which aimed to determine if of the straightener it is possible to straight bigger profiles than for which was ...
