Reconstructing the Post‐Burn Auricle: A Microsurgical Approach Using a Contralateral Free Temporoparietal Fascial Flap and Autologous Costal Cartilage Framework

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Post‐burn auricular defects compromise both aesthetics and facial symmetry, often imposing significant social and psychological burdens that severely diminish patients' quality of life. Scarring in the mastoid region following burns typically exhibits poor elasticity and texture, along with compromised cutaneous blood supply.

Targeting Mitochondria in Aging‐Related Diseases: Therapeutic Potential and Obstacles

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This article systematically summarized the specific mechanism of aging‐related diseases caused by mitochondrial dysfunction, and summarized the broad‐spectrum treatment methods and disease targeted treatment strategies for mitochondria. At the same time, it also pointed out the dilemma faced by mitochondrial targeted treatment.

Effect of feeding fractionated RBD palm stearin on milk yield and quality of dairy cattle [PDF]

open access: yesMalaysian Journal of Animal Science, 2016
Energy intake of dairy cows is important during the peak of milk production to maintain consistency of milk yield. To overcome energy deficiency, diet with high energy density is required for lactating dairy cows which can be enhanced by incorporating ...

Numerical Modeling of the Thermo‐Mechanical and Electrical Behavior of a Sensor‐Integrating Jaw Coupling

open access: yesProceedings in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Volume 26, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Industry 4.0 requires more and more data from the production process, for example, on transmitted forces, torques and wear, in order to reduce expensive downtimes and to increase productivity. Direct or indirect methods can be used to collect this data.

On the Simes inequality in elliptical models

open access: yes, 2014
We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the validity of the inequality of Simes (1986) in models with elliptical dependencies. Necessary conditions are presented in terms of sufficient conditions for the reverse Simes inequality. One application of our main results concerns the problem of model misspecification, in particular the case that ...

Reductive Transformation of ALD TeO2 into Continuous and Impurity‐Free Tellurium Films

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 32, 8 June 2026.
Atomic layer deposition forms a conformal TeO2 template that transforms to elemental Te through TeH2 mediated reduction using Te(SiMe3)2 and NH3. The transformation is self‐limiting and yields continuous crystalline Te with oxygen‐free bulk and interface even at ultrathin thicknesses.
