Collective Quartics from Simple Groups [PDF]
This article classifies Little Higgs models that have collective quartic couplings. There are two classes of collective quartics: Special Cosets and Special Quartics.

Invariant tensors for simple groups [PDF]
The forms of the invariant primitive tensors for the simple Lie algebras A_l, B_l, C_l and D_l are investigated. A new family of symmetric invariant tensors is introduced using the non-trivial cocycles for the Lie algebra cohomology.

Centers, cocenters and simple quantum groups [PDF]
We define the notion of a (linearly reductive) center for a linearly reductive quantum group, and show that the quotient of a such a quantum group by its center is simple whenever its fusion semiring is free in the sense of Banica and Vergnioux.

Borelian subgroups of simple Lie groups [PDF]
We prove that in a simple real Lie group, there is no Borel measurable dense subgroup of intermediate Hausdorff dimension.Comment: 26 pages, no ...

Cohomology of simple modules for algebraic groups
In this paper, we consider questions related to the study of the cohomology of simple and simply connected algebraic groups with coefficients in simple modules. There are various calculating methods for them. One of the effective methods is to study the

On the prime graph of simple groups [PDF]
Let $G$ be a finite group, let $\pi(G)$ be the set of prime divisors of $|G|$ and let $\Gamma(G)$ be the prime graph of $G$. This graph has vertex set $\pi(G)$, and two vertices $r$ and $s$ are adjacent if and only if $G$ contains an element of order $rs$

Some properties of finite generalized-groups [PDF]
In this article, we discuss the concept of completely simple-semigroups, which serves as a natural extension of the group structures. These semigroups, also known as generalized-groups, provide an interesting generalization beyond the realm of the ...

Simple linear compactifications of odd orthogonal groups [PDF]
We classify the simple linear compactifications of SO(2r+1), namely those compactifications with a unique closed orbit which are obtained by taking the closure of the SO(2r+1)xSO(2r+1)-orbit of the identity in a projective space P(End(V)), where V is a ...

Conjugate factorizations of finite groups [PDF]
In this paper we illustrate recent results about factorizations of finite groups into conjugate subgroups. The illustrated results are joint works with John Cannon, Dan Levy, Attila Mar'oti and Iulian I. Simion.

Finite Groups Isospectral to Simple Groups
The spectrum of a finite group is the set of element orders of this group. The main goal of this paper is to survey results concerning recognition of finite simple groups by spectrum, in particular, to list all finite simple groups for which the recognition problem is solved.
