Discordance Between Patient and Physician Global Assessments in Early Systemic Sclerosis
Objective This study aims to identify factors associated with patient global assessment (PtGA) and physician global assessment (PhGA) and discordance between them in systemic sclerosis (SSc). Methods Data from adults with early SSc (<5 years) from the Collaborative National Quality and Efficacy Registry were included.

Testing for price convergence: how close are EU New Member's States to euro zone? [PDF]
The purpose of my paper is to empirically explore the validity of the relative version of purchasing power parity (PPP) for nine EU New Member States (NMS) using unit root and panel unit root frameworks.

Simple modules over 3-cyclic quantum Weyl Algebra at roots of unity
This article undertakes an exploration of simple modules of 3-cyclic quantum Weyl algebra at roots of unity. Under the roots of unity assumption, the algebra becomes a Polynomial Identity algebra and the vector space dimension of the simple modules is ...

Nonparametric Rank Tests for Non-stationary Panels [PDF]
This study develops new rank tests for panels that include panel unit root tests as a special case. The tests are unusual in that they can accommodate very general forms of both serial and cross-sectional dependence, including cross-unit cointegration ...

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

Taking a New Contour: A Novel Approach to Panel Unit Root Tests [PDF]
The paper introduces a novel approach to testing for unit roots in panels. Following Chang and Park (2004), the approach takes a new contour that is drawn along the line given by the equi-squared-sum instead of the traditional one given by the equi ...

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Effects of Applying Linear and Nonlinear Filters on Tests for Unit Roots with Additive Outliers [PDF]
Conventional univariate Dickey-Fuller tests tend to produce spurious stationarity when there exist additive outlying observations in the time series. Correct critical values are usually obtained by adding dummy variables to the Dickey-Fuller regression ...
