Simulation of asynchronous motor tests on the simpowersystems program base [PDF]

open access: yes2017 International Conference on Electromechanical and Power Systems (SIELMEN), 2017
In the paper is used the Simpowersystems program which is used for calculating the static mechanical characteristic and operating characteristics within the range of variation of rotor slippage. Also, the program can be used to determine the starting moment corresponding to the rotor resistance and reactance values in the startup process.

Converter simulation using SimPowerSystems a comparison of drive cycles and control strategies

open access: yes2013 International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Applications (ICRERA), 2013
This paper describes the setup of a direct current to direct current (DC-DC) converter simulation using Matlab / Simulink's SimPowerSystems (SPS). The simulation is set up to focus on full drive cycle simulation to be able to visualize the effects of a control strategy on a drive cycle over time.

Research on Simulation Speed of Continuous System Based on SimPowerSystems

International Journal of Control and Automation, 2016
Simulation speed is a noteworthy issue in the simulation of continuous system. Although previous research has to some extent obtained some achievements, it is still very slow for complex system simulation. A schematic diagram is formulated to describe and analyze the simulation process of continuous system in SimPowerSystems environment.

Implementation of Equivalent Circuit Model of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells for Multi-physics Transients Simulation Using Simulink/SimPowerSystems

2020 IEEE 4th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2), 2020
Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) has received considerable attention nowadays. It can be used in the integrated energy system (IES) to provide both thermal power and electric power. For purposes of analysis of multi-physics phenomena, a SOFC model that considers electric, pneumatic, and thermal transients is developed in this paper.

Implementation of constant-parameter directly-interfaced VBR synchronous machine models in SimPowerSystems, ASMG, and PLECS toolboxes

2013 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting, 2013
This paper presents the implementation of a constant-parameter voltage-behind-reactance (CP-VBR) synchronous machines model that can be directly interfaced in most state-variable-based transient simulation programs. The stator is interfaced using constant and decoupled RL branches, and the rotor equations are expressed in state-space form to facilitate
