Sharp inequalities of Simpson type and Ostrowski type
Computers & Mathematics with Applications, 2004 Two sharp inequalities are derived. The first is sharp Simpson's inequality and the second is a sharp Ostrowski inequality. The mentioned inequalities give error bounds for some known quadrature rules. These results enlarge applicability of the corresponding quadrature rules with respect to the obtained error bounds.
