Dual Simpson type inequalities for multiplicatively convex functions

open access: yesFilomat, 2023
In this paper we propose a new identity for multiplicative differentiable functions, based on this identity we establish a dual Simpson type inequality for multiplicatively convex functions. Some applications of the obtained results are also given.

Estimation-type results on the k-fractional Simpson-type integral inequalities and applications

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2019
We establish a Simpson-type identity of multiparameter and certain Simpson-type inequalities via k-fractional integrals. Worth mentioning, the obtained inequalities in this article generalize some results presented by Set et al.

Integral Inequalities Using Generalized Convexity Property Pertaining to Fractional Integrals and Their Applications [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
In this study, we established the Hermite-Hadamard type, Simpson type, Ostrowski type and midpoint type integral inequalities for the s-convex functions in the second sense via Katugampola fractional integrals.

Perceived Economic Inequality and Progressive Taxation: The Moderator Role of Upward Mobility Beliefs

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Social Psychology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Attitudes toward redistribution have been widely studied, yet individuals respond differently to specific policies. Progressive taxation is one of the most effective mechanisms for reducing inequality and fostering more egalitarian societies, but little is known about the psychological factors shaping support for it.

Simpson-type inequalities by means of tempered fractional integrals

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
<p>The latest iterations of Simpson-type inequalities (STIs) are the topic of this paper. These inequalities were generated via convex functions and tempered fractional integral operators (TFIOs). To get these sorts of inequalities, we employ the well-known Hölder inequality and the inequality of exponent mean. The subsequent STIS

EU Policy‐Making in the Digital Age: Major Trends and Insights From Public Policy Research

open access: yesEuropean Policy Analysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Has digitalization changed policy‐making dynamics at the European Union (EU) level? To investigate this issue, this article presents a scoping review of the literature on EU digital policy‐making. While much scholarship adopts a ‘Governance’ approach, two conceptually rich strands emerge: critical approaches, and digital sovereignty.

The Art of Reception: Field Visits as Microcosms for Development Interventions of Non‐Governmental Organisations in Uganda

open access: yesJournal of International Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Field visits are common phenomena with non‐governmental organisations in Uganda. During these visits, Ugandan national staff guide visitors on series of meetings and interactions in the field. Following an actor‐oriented approach and drawing on ethnographic data on 14 field visits, this paper understands the field visit as a microcosm for the ...

Simpson, midpoint, and trapezoid-type inequalities for multiplicatively s-convex functions

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this study, we establish new generalizations and results for Simpson, midpoint, and trapezoid-type integral inequalities within the framework of multiplicative calculus. We begin by proving a new identity for multiplicatively differentiable functions.

Brokering Localization: Country‐Based Pooled Funds in Humanitarian Assistance

open access: yesPublic Administration and Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article analyzes Country‐Based Pooled Funds (CBPFs) to identify types of brokerage models and their effects on localization. CBPFs are intermediaries in the aid chain connecting donors to implementers such as the United Nations, international non‐governmental organizations (INGOs) and national NGOs (NNGOs). This paper analyzes four of the

On Improved Simpson-Type Inequalities via Convexity and Generalized Fractional Operators

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
In this work, we develop novel Simpson-type inequalities for mappings with convex properties by employing operators for tempered fractional integrals. These findings expand upon and refine classical results, including those linked to Riemann–Liouville ...
