Multiple inheritance in Simula-like languages
BIT, 1985This paper examines the subclass mechanism offered in the Simula language, and discusses how the flexibility of this mechanism would be enhanced if more than one prefix were allowed for classes (multiple inheritance). A strategy is presented for implementing this with efficiency comparable to that of current Simula.

Software: Practice and Experience, 1986
The programming language Ada* is discussed from a Simula point of view. Such a comparison is of special interest, as the two languages are based on different philosophies. Where Ada offers several constructs (record, package, task …), Simula has only one—the general class construct.

General Concepts of the Simula 67 Programming Language
Annual Review in Automatic Programming, 1972Publisher Summary This chapter describes the notions of class, subclass, and object. The chapter also discusses quasi-parallelism. Simulaing Ablating Phenomenon for Earth Reentry
48th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting Including the New Horizons Forum and Aerospace Exposition, 2010The present research in kinetic model for hypersonic nonequilibrium flow attempts to better understand the vibrational relaxation by comparing the Park’s model and the preferential dissociation formulations of Treanor-Marrone. A simplified model for describing the electronic excitation has also been implemented to simulate the flowfield around the ...

SIMULA (Trademark) File Classes.
1980Abstract : Two SIMULA Class in file and out file which are designed as replacements for the system defined classes in file and Out file in IBM SIMULA are described. These replacements provide a number of capabilities that make it easier to work with a terminal in interactive programs and provide for considerably improved error recovery. (Author)

“Simula’s development since its establishment in 2001 has been amazing, but there is still plenty of scope for improvement! What I mean is that the most successful among us are those who recognise their weaknesses and work systematically to overcome them,” says Professor Morten Daehlen.
