Malformin A1–mediated cytotoxicity in ovarian cancer cells occurs through pyroptosis and autophagy
This study investigated the effects of the natural compound Malformin A1 (MA1) on the cytoskeleton that regulates cell proliferation and migration. Disruption of the cytoskeleton can impair these processes and promote cancer cell death. MA1 disrupted cytoskeletal organization, induced DNA damage, inflammation, activated autophagy, and pyroptosis ...

Evaluating the effect of γ‐oryzanol on MASLD pathology using a medaka fish model
This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.

Simultaneous exact controllability for Maxwell equations and for a second-order hyperbolic system
We present a result on "simultaneous" exact controllability for two models that describe two hyperbolic dynamics. One is the system of Maxwell equations and the other a vector-wave equation with a pressure term.

A Solution of Simultaneous Equations and Its Graphical Representation. [PDF]
Problem Solving is an important theme of Information and Systems. As an example of Problem Solving, a graphical representation of simultaneous equations with solutions is discussed in this paper.

Accurate and noninvasive prostate cancer detection using plasma‐derived extracellular vesicle RNA
Plasma extracellular vesicles were captured with WGA‐conjugated magnetic beads and profiled for RNA biomarkers. A three‐RNA panel (NM_024955, NR_047469, and NR_002564) distinguished prostate cancer from healthy controls and benign prostatic hyperplasia, supporting a simple, noninvasive approach to improve prostate cancer detection.

Simultaneous Wiener–Hopf equations
In Noble's book The Wiener Hopf Technique, Pergamon, 1958, he considers the coupled system of Wiener–Hopf equations (§4.4, pp. 153–154)[Formula: see text]He shows that provided the functions L(α), M(α), Q(α), and R(α) have only simple pole singularities

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

systemfit: A Package for Estimating Systems of Simultaneous Equations in R [PDF]
Many statistical analyses (e.g., in econometrics, biostatistics and experimental design) are based on models containing systems of structurally related equations.

A note on the solvability of simultaneous Wiener–Hopf equations
Sufficient conditions are given for the solvability of simultaneous Wiener–Hopf equations by means of the Wiener–Hopf–Hilbert technique, for the case when the kernel matrix of the system has the special form appropriate to half-plane boundary value ...
