Stage‐Dependent β‐Synuclein Links MRI and Cognitive Decline in Alzheimer's Disease

ABSTRACT Objective Synaptic degeneration drives cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD), but synaptic biomarkers are scarce. Brain‐enriched β‐synuclein emerged as a synaptic damage marker. We investigated its diagnostic, prognostic, and structural correlates across the AD continuum.

Objective Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) myositis is a rare but a highly morbid condition, particularly with the ICI myositis triad syndrome of myositis, myocarditis, and myasthenia gravis. We report the clinical characteristics of ICI myositis and all‐cause mortality in these patients.

Objective Cardiac involvement significantly impacts prognosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc), highlighting the need for early risk stratification. Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are common and often manifest early. Emerging data suggest a link between GI and cardiac manifestations, possibly through shared mechanisms like dysautonomia.
