We study single-ion and exchange anisotropy effects in equal-spin $s_1$ tetramer single molecule magnets exhibiting $T_d$, $D_{4h}$, $D_{2d}$, $C_{4h}$, $C_{4v}$, or $S_4$ ionic point group symmetry.

Hybridization and Decay of Magnetic Excitations in two-dimensional Triangular Lattice Antiferromagnets [PDF]
Elementary quasiparticles in solids such as phonons and magnons occasionally have nontrivial interactions between them, as well as among themselves. As a result, their energy eigenvalues are renormalized, the quasiparticles spontaneously decay into a ...

Beam Cleaning and Collimation Systems [PDF]
Collimation systems in particle accelerators are designed to dispose of unavoidable losses safely and efficiently during beam operation. Different roles are required for different types of accelerator.

Magnetic properties of on-surface synthesized single-ion molecular magnets
We perform on-surface synthesis of single-ion molecular magnets on an Ag(111) surface and characterize their morphology, chemistry, and magnetism.

Spin anisotropy effects in dimer single molecule magnets
We present a model of equal spin $s_1$ dimer single molecule magnets. The spins within each dimer interact via the Heisenberg and the most general set of four quadratic anisotropic spin interactions with respective strengths $J$ and $\{J_j\}$, and with ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
