Comparison of the Active Parts of Single-Phase Transformers with Twisted and Laminated Magnetic Circuits

2021 IEEE International Conference on Modern Electrical and Energy Systems (MEES), 2021
A numerical comparative analysis of indicators of the technical level of planar rod, armored and spatial armored electromagnetic systems with twisted and laminated magnetic circuits was carried out.

New Method to Measure Deep-Saturated Magnetizing Inductances for Dual Reversible Models of Single-Phase Two-Winding Transformers

IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2021
In this letter, a new method is proposed to measure the magnetizing inductances of dual reversible models of single-phase two-winding transformers.

A Monitoring Method for Average Winding and Hot-Spot Temperatures of Single-Phase, Oil-Immersed Transformers

IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2021
Transformers are the most expensive element of a power system, and so transformer monitoring systems are becoming more important as loads increase. Under heavy loading conditions, the hot-spot temperature of a transformer is the most critical parameter ...

Single-phase insulator transformers

IEEE Potentials, 2002
To show that voltage surges are effectively transmitted between the windings of insulator transformers, a relatively simple and functional test was prepared. The test applied differential-mode voltage surges with small amplitudes to the primary winding of three different types of single-phase no-load insulator transformers.
