AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Samarium Magnetism Studied on SmPd2Al3 Single Crystal
In this paper, specific features of Sm magnetism in an intermetallic compound have been studied. For this purpose, a high-quality single crystal of SmPd2Al3 was grown and subjected to detailed measurements of specific heat, magnetization, ac ...

PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Diels−Alder Topochemistry via Charge-Transfer Crystals: Novel (Thermal) Single-Crystal-to-Single-Crystal Transformations [PDF]
The solid-state [4+2] cycloaddition of anthracene to bis(N-ethylimino)-1,4-dithiin occurs via a unique single-phase topochemical reaction in the intermolecular (1:1) charge-transfer crystal.

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Superplasticity in an organic crystal
Superplasticity enables processing on hard-to-work solids but superelastic deformation, especially in a single-crystal-to-single-crystal manner, was not demonstrated for organic crystals so far.

Intergrowth and thermoelectric properties in the Bi-Ca-Co-O system
Single crystals of the Bi-Ca-Co-O system have been grown using the flux method with cooling from 900$\celsius$ and 950$\celsius$, respectively. The single crystals are characterized by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein
