Single-longitudinal-mode broadband tunable random laser
Optics Letters, 2017In this work, we demonstrate a broadband tunable single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) random laser based on Rayleigh backscattering in a standard single-mode fiber. The wide tuning range of this SLM fiber laser over 1500-1570 nm is demonstrated with a linewidth of 4.5-30 kHz.

Single longitudinal mode operation of diode lasers
Applied Physics Letters, 1977We report single longitudinal mode operation of conventional double-heterostructure GaAs/GaAlAs diode lasers achieved by heavy p-type doping of the active region. At 77 °K a broad-area device pumped with a rectangular current pulse exhibited single longitudinal mode operation up to 2.8 times threshold, which was the limit of the pulser.

Single Longitudinal Mode Green Diode Laser
Frontiers in Optics 2016, 2016We observed that a green diode laser shows single longitudinal mode output at low operation current, and its frequency can be tuned by adjusting the operation temperature and operational current. The behavior of laser modes with operational current was also investaigated.

Single longitudinal mode operation of an XeCl laser

Applied Physics B, 2020We develop a theoretical model of multimode rate equation that accurately describes mode evolution mechanism of prelase Q-switched Pr3+:YLF single longitudinal mode (SLM). Optics Letters, 2010A tunable single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) fiber optical parametric oscillator (FOPO) is proposed and demonstrated experimentally. A sub-ring cavity with a short cavity length is used to suppress the longitudinal modes and broaden the longitudinal mode spacing.
