Fractional acceptance number single sampling plan

Communications in Statistics Part B: Simulation and Computation, 1991
A special type of double sampling plan wherein no acceptance is allowed in the first stage of sampling is considerd and its equivalence to the fractional acceptance number single samplingplan of Hamaker is established. Procedures and tables for the selection of the plan under the conditions of Poisson model for Operating Characteristic curve are ...

Determination of Skip Lot Sampling Plan with Single Sampling Plan as Reference Plan under the conditions of Intervened Poisson Distribution

Journal of Statistics and Management Systems, 2016
AbstractSkip lot sampling plans (SkSP) were developed by implementing the concepts of Continuous sampling plans (CSP) to inspect the raw materials bought regularly from a common source. Skip lot sampling plans are considered to be time and cost effective sampling plans so; it is most widely used in industries to inspect the series of lots. In SkSP, the

On the Design of Single Sample Acceptance Sampling Plans

Economic Quality Control, 2001
Summary: We provide a method of finding exact designs for single sample acceptance sampling plans. The method uses an algorithm that allows determination of plans based on the hypergeometric, binomial or Poisson distributions. Designs can be found for specified OC curves of either Type A or Type B.

Chance Single Sampling Plan for Variables

International Journal of Fuzzy System Applications, 2015
This paper considers the design of single sampling plan for variables when the experimental values are treated as observations on independently and identically distributed normal random variables with fuzzy mean value. The design makes use of Liu's (2008) model IV of Chance Theory.

Comparison of Chain Sampling Plans with Single and Double Sampling Plans

Journal of Quality Technology, 1976
The efficiency of chain sampling is examined through matching of operating characteristics (OC) curves of chain sampling plans (ChSP) with single and double sampling plans. In particular, the operating characteristics of some ChSP-0, 3 and 1, 3 as well as ChSP-0, 4 and 1, 4 are presented, where the number pairs represent the first and the second ...

Bayesian Single Sampling Plans for a Gamma Prior

Economic Quality Control, 2001
Summary: The average probability of acceptance is obtained for a single sampling plan assuming a Gamma prior distribution. Formulas for inflection points and tangents at the inflection points are also derived. Tables are provided for selection of plan parameters.

Design of single sampling plans by closed-form equations

2013 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC), 2013
The paper discusses the problem of designing attribute sampling plans by means of closed-form approximate formulae. A methodology is developed to fully characterize the formulae, in terms of design error, i.e. difference between "estimated" and "true" parameters of the sampling plan for given requirements.
