SUPPLEMENTARY AQL SINGLE SAMPLING INSPECTION PLANS

1965
Abstract : In a previous paper (AD-416 800) a set of AQL single sampling inspection plans was given for gamma = 2 and 10. Further research along the same lines led to a generalized model and corresponding tables as given in (AD- 609 993). One of the new results is that values of gamma may normally be expected to be less than 2.

A Single Sampling Plan for Correlated Variables with a Single-Sided Specification Limit

Journal of the American Statistical Association, 1959
Abstract An economic single sampling plan for a variable having a single-sided specification limit whose direct measurement is very expensive or destructive is suggested in this paper. Assuming existence of at least one correlated auxiliary variable whose measurement is not so expensive and of a known dispersion matrix of these variables, the suggested

Lot quality assurance sampling: single- and double-sampling plans.

World health statistics quarterly. Rapport trimestriel de statistiques sanitaires mondiales, 1991
Lot quality assurance sampling (LQAS) was originally developed for industrial applications. This article discusses the extension of its application to a public health setting. When resources must be allocated to several communities based on whether or not each exceeds a target proportion of members with a characteristic, a sampling scenario arises ...

An Application of Single and Double Acceptance Sampling Plans for a Manufacturing System

2009
Due to result of increasing competition in production enterprises, the prices have been determined by customers. So, the product costs must be improved at lack of quality costs except basic costs. Therefore, the enterprises will increase their profits and will sustain manufacturing and organizational processes.

A Fuzzy Design of Single and Double Acceptance Sampling Plans

2015
In this chapter, we briefly introduce the topic of acceptance sampling. We also examine acceptance sampling plans with intelligent techniques for solving complex quality problems. Among intelligent techniques, we focus on the application of the fuzzy set theory in the acceptance sampling.

Single Sampling Attributes Plans Indexed by AQL and AOQL

Journal of Quality Technology, 1981
Tables for single sample attributes sampling plans indexed by AQL and AOQL are presented. The tables are developed for both infinite and finite lot sizes with matching OC curves. It is assumed that inspection is for a stream of lots. Supplementary infor..

Adjusting Single Sampling Plans for Finite Lot Size

Applied Statistics, 1959
Most single sampling plans assume that the lot size is large compared with the sample size, and the calculated operating characteristic curves are strictly valid only under these conditions. In this article Dr Hamaker describes a simple method for finding the sample size and acceptance number appropriate to a lot of finite size, so that the resulting ...

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF A BAYESIAN ADAPTIVE SKIP-LOT SAMPLING PLAN (BASkSP) WITH SINGLE SAMPLING PLAN AS REFERENCE PLAN

This research describes a new Bayesian Adaptive Skip-Lot Sampling Plan (BA-SkSP) system designed for quality inspection of constantly manufactured lots using Bayesian statistical concepts. The proposed strategy uses a single sampling plan as a reference plan and includes a Bayesian framework for dynamically adjusting sample frequency depending on prior
