Nuclear singlet multimers (NUSIMERs) with long-lived singlet states
We are introducing nuclear spin singlet multimers which are molecules that contain several nuclear singlet states that can be populated at the same time.

Determination of singlet oxygen quenching rate and mechanism of γ-oryzanol
Photooxidation is one of the causes of quality deterioration in food. An antioxidant or singlet oxygen quencher is urgently needed to prevent photooxidation. γ-Oryzanol was recognized as a naturally present antioxidant in rice bran products.

Identifying (BN)2-pyrene as a new class of singlet fission chromophores: significance of azaborine substitution [PDF]
Singlet fission converts one photoexcited singlet state to two triplet excited states and raises photoelectric conversion efficiency in photovoltaic devices.

The Singlet States of Molecular Oxygen [PDF]
Although the purpose of the article “The Visible Spectrum of Liquid Oxygen in the General Chemistry Laboratory” is an analysis of the two-molecules–one-photon absorption spectrum of oxygen, it nevertheless assigns arrangements of the electrons in an energy diagram to the two singlet states of molecular oxygen that do not seem to be correct.

Wave function of the sexaquark or compact H-dibaryon
We derive and explicitly display the internal wave function of a color-, flavor- and spin- singlet dibaryon composed of uuddss quarks in a spatially symmetric state, in the approximation of exact SU(3) flavor symmetry.

BOUND STATES OF SINGLET QUARKS AT LHC [PDF]
We discuss the discovery potential of the bound states of singlet quarks at LHC. We find that it is possible to discover bound states of singlet quarks at LHC with singlet quark masses up to 300 GeV for eQ=2/3 and up to 200 GeV for eQ=−1/3.

Unveiling the concentration dependent direct triplet formation via singlet fission in a tetracene derivative [PDF]
Singlet fission is slowed down on diffusional timescales in highly concentrated solutions compared to thin films for a tetracene-like molecule. The underlying mechanism suggests competing intersystem crossing and singlet fission, where in the latter ...

The field of long-lived states in NMR is reviewed. The relationship of long-lived-state phenomena to those associated with spin isomerism is discussed. A brief overview is given of key developments in the field of long-lived states, including chemical symmetry-switching, the role of magnetic equivalence and magnetic inequivalence, long-lived coherences,
