Wave function of the sexaquark or compact H-dibaryon
We derive and explicitly display the internal wave function of a color-, flavor- and spin- singlet dibaryon composed of uuddss quarks in a spatially symmetric state, in the approximation of exact SU(3) flavor symmetry.

Identifying (BN)2-pyrene as a new class of singlet fission chromophores: significance of azaborine substitution [PDF]
Singlet fission converts one photoexcited singlet state to two triplet excited states and raises photoelectric conversion efficiency in photovoltaic devices.

Pariser-Parr-Pople Model based Investigation of Ground and Low-Lying Excited States of Long Acenes
Several years back Angliker et al [Chem. Phys. Lett. 1982, 87, 208] predicted nonacene to be the first linear acene with the triplet state $1^{3}B_{2u}$ as the ground state, instead of the singlet $1^{1}A_{g}$ state. However, contrary to that prediction,

Tuneable Singlet Exciton Fission and Triplet-Triplet Annihilation in an Orthogonal Pentacene Dimer [PDF]
Fast and highly efficient intramolecular singlet exciton fission in a pentacene dimer, consisting of two covalently attached, nearly orthogonal pentacene units is reported. Fission to triplet excitons from this ground state geometry occurs within 1 ps in

Nuclear spin singlet is a special quantum state that lasts longer than T1 and can be used to study slow diffusion and motion between molecules. The preparation of singlet states is the key to their successful application.

Modeling the singlet state with local variables [PDF]
A local-variable model yielding the statistics from the singlet state is presented for the case of inefficient detectors and/or lowered visibility. It has independent errors and the highest efficiency at perfect visibility is 77.80%, while the highest visibility at perfect detector-efficiency is 63.66%. Thus, the model cannot be refuted by measurements

Unveiling the concentration dependent direct triplet formation via singlet fission in a tetracene derivative [PDF]
Singlet fission is slowed down on diffusional timescales in highly concentrated solutions compared to thin films for a tetracene-like molecule. The underlying mechanism suggests competing intersystem crossing and singlet fission, where in the latter ...

Triplet-singlet conversion by broadband optical pumping
We demonstrate the conversion of cold Cs_{2} molecules initially distributed over several vibrational levels of the lowest triplet state a^{3}\Sigma_{u}^{+} into the singlet ground state X^{1}\Sigma_{g}^{+}.

Macroscopic singlet states for gradient magnetometry
We present a method for measuring magnetic field gradients with macroscopic singlet states realized with ensembles of spin-j particles. While the singlet state is completely insensitive to homogeneous magnetic fields, the variance of its collective spin ...
