History‐indicated cerclage is associated with a two‐fold decreased risk of delivery before 34 weeks compared to ultrasound cervical length screening in women with a history of one second‐trimerter loss or extremely preterm birth suggestive of cervical insufficiency.

Cesarean delivery with general anesthesia was associated with a modestly increased risk of autism in offspring compared to vaginal delivery while cesarean delivery with neuraxial anesthesia was not. Similar findings were seen across different surgery types and ethnic groups, suggesting that general anesthesia may be relevant to autism risk.

The magnitude of the increased risk for preterm birth after UTI diagnosis is dependent of the gestational week at diagnosis, with a significantly higher risk if the UTI diagnosis occurred in early‐mid pregnancy compared to episodes towards term.
