Abstract Macaws are renowned for processing dry, mechanically resistant fruits, yet the species‐level anatomical and functional correlates of this performance remain incompletely resolved. We examined the feeding apparatus of the Blue‐and‐yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna) using an integrated approach that combines osteology, myology, and bite‐force estimates

Solvability of the Dirichlet problem in W^{2,p} for a class of elliptic equations with singular data
We prove an existence and uniqueness result for the Dirichlet problem for a class of elliptic equations with singular data in weighted Sobolev ...

Abstract Primates show a high degree of locomotor diversity that engenders similar variance in limb bone cross‐sectional geometry and bending strength: leaping primates have stronger hindlimb bones whereas suspensory species have stronger forelimb bones.

In this article, we show the existence of multiple positive solutions to a class of degenerate elliptic equations involving critical cone Sobolev exponent and sign-changing weight function on singular manifolds with the help of category theory and the

Computing all integer solutions of a genus 1 equation
The Elliptic Logarithm Method has been applied with great successto the problem of computing all integer solutions of equations ofdegree 3 and 4 defining elliptic curves. We extend this methodto include any equation f(u,v)=0 that defines a curve of genus

The fossil record stays silent: Confusions and conundrums for hominin pelvis evolution
Abstract The evolution of the hominin pelvis is commonly modeled as a series of stages driven largely by the requirements of bipedal locomotion, reproduction, thermoregulation, and pelvic floor muscular support. These patterns are complicated by variation in canal dimensions in relationship with different changes in overall pelvic breadths. To quantify

Since late 2021, serious allegations have been made against physicist Erwin Schrödinger, ranging from pedophilia to serial sexual abuse. These accusations have significantly tarnished the Nobel Prize winner's public reputation. The ongoing debate has repeatedly raised the question of whether, and to what extent, these grave allegations are justified ...
