The integral equation P ∫ cK(ζ′,ζ)ζ′−ζφ(ζ′) dζ′=h(ζ)φ(ζ)+f(ζ)is shown to have simple solutions obtained by standard and elementary methods if h and K have appropriate analytic properties.
