A Particular Class of Singular Integral Equations
SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 1971The integral equation \[ \int_0^1 \left\{ \frac{1}{y - x} + \frac{{P_n [y/(y + x)]}}{{y + x}} \right\}\varphi (y) dy = h(x),\quad 0 < x < 1, \], with $P_n (z)$ representing a polynomial of degree n, is investigated. A change of variables $(x = \exp ( - t),y = \exp ( - t))$ transforms the equation into one of the Wiener-Hopf type.

Abel’s Integral Equation and Singular Integral Equations
2011Abel’s integral equation occurs in many branches of scientific fields [1], such as microscopy, seismology, radio astronomy, electron emission, atomic scattering, radar ranging, plasma diagnostics, X-ray radiography, and optical fiber evaluation. Abel’s integral equation is the earliest example of an integral equation [2].

On Singular Normal Linear Integral Equations
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1970In this work we consider the equation1where K(x, y) is singular in the sense that it does not properly belong to L2 and f(x) is an arbitrary L2 function.A Lebesgue measurable function K(x, y) of two variables, having real values on [0.1] × [0.1] is called a singular normal kernel ...
