Probabilistic Perturbation Bounds for Invariant, Deflating and Singular Subspaces
In this paper, we derive new probabilistic bounds on the sensitivity of invariant subspaces, deflation subspaces and singular subspaces of matrices. The analysis exploits a unified method for deriving asymptotic perturbation bounds of the subspaces under

Emergent Spin Supersolids in Frustrated Quantum Materials
This review highlights developments in the study of spin super‐solids in frustrated quantum materials. Advanced experimental characterizations and computational studies enable a comprehensive understanding of the driving mechanisms of spin super‐solidity in various layered transition‐metal compounds, bridging materials, experiments, and theory aspects.

Rosetak Document 4: Rank Degeneracies and Least Square Problems [PDF]
In this paper we shall be concerned with the following problem. Let A be an m x n matrix with m being greater than or equal to n, and suppose that A is near (in a sense to be made precise later) a matrix B whose rank is less than n. Can one find a set of

Structured pseudospectra in structural engineering
This paper presents a new method for computing the pseudospectra of a matrix that respects a prescribed sparsity structure. The pseudospectrum is defined as the set of points in the complex plane to which an eigenvalue of the matrix can be shifted by a ...

A targeted modulation of the MoS2 electronic structure is achieved via substitutional n‐type Co/Fe co‐doping. This strategy triggers S‐mediated d‐p hybridization, optimizing the binding affinity with polysulfides to establish a volcano‐shaped relationship between the d‐band center and catalytic activity.

Singular perturbation in a nonlocal diffusion problem
. We study a singular perturbation problem for a nonlocal evolution operator. The problem appears in the analysis of the propagation of flames in the high activation energy limit, when admitting nonlocal effects.
