Soliton and singular solutions to the Schrödinger-Hartree equation
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010In this work we prove the existence of solitary wave solutions and give conditions for formation of singularities for the focusing time‐dependent Schrodinger‐Hartree equation in Rn.

Cusp-like singular soliton solutions of Jaulent–Miodek equation using symbolic computation
Physica Scripta, 2009Summary: In this paper, the sine-cosine method is employed to construct a series of exact solitary solutions to the celebrated Jaulent-Miodek equation. Solitons, anti-solitons and cusp-like singular solutions are obtained with the aid of symbolic computation.

New exact spatial and periodic-singular soliton solutions in nematic liquid crystal
Optical and Quantum Electronics, 2019The enterprising of nematicons has procured considerable recognition during the last few years due to its utilization in crystal technology. This research work contains some new exact traveling waves solutions in nematic liquid crystals. The modified simple equation method is employed to extract new traveling wave solutions.

Singular solitons and other solutions to a couple of nonlinear wave equations
Chinese Physics B, 2013This paper addresses the extended (G'/G)-expansion method and applies it to a couple of nonlinear wave equations. These equations are modified the Benjamin—Bona—Mahoney equation and the Boussinesq equation. This extended method reveals several solutions to these equations.

In this work, we study the modified KdV equation with first-order correction. Multiple soliton solutions and multiple singular soliton solutions are formally derived for this perturbed model. The simplified form of the bilinear method will be employed to carry out this analysis.

Abstract In this paper, we apply the extended Kudryashov method to a nonlinear Schrodinger type equation called the Kundu–Eckhaus equation or the Eckhaus equation which was independently introduced by Wiktor Eckhaus and by Anjan Kundu in 1984–1985 to model the propagation of waves in dispersive media.
