Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...

Objectives Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe extra‐articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The study aimed to externally validate a genetic risk score (GRS) and a combined risk score for predicting the risk of RA‐associated PF in an independent cohort of early‐RA patients. Methods This study utilized an inception cohort of 1118 patients

Objectives Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies. To help patients and providers in the decision‐making process, we developed

Twin solutions to singular semipositone problems
The author investigates the existence of multiple positive solutions to the following singular semipositone problem: \[ y''+\lambda f(t,y)=0,\quad t\in(0,1),\quad y(0)=y(1)=0, \tag{1\(_\lambda\)} \] where \(\lambda>0\), and \(f(t,y)\) has not necessarily a constant sign and may be singular at \(t=0\), \(t=1\) and \(y=0\).
