Objective Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe extra‐articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study aimed to externally validate a genetic risk score (GRS) and a combined risk score (CRS) for predicting the risk of RA‐associated PF in an independent cohort of patients with early RA.

Dead Core Problems for Singular Equations with Æ-Laplacian
The paper discusses the existence of positive solutions, dead core solutions, and pseudo dead core solutions of the singular problem (Æ(u′))′+f(t,u′)=λg(t,u,u′), u′(0)=0, βu′(T)+αu(T)=A.

Remarks on Mӧller mistaken famous paper from 1943 [PDF]
Einstein field equations was originally derived by Einstein in 1915 in respect with canonical formalism of Riemann geometry,i.e. by using the classical sufficiently smooth metric tensor, smooth Riemann curvature tensor, smooth Ricci ...

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Comparison theorems for ultrahyperbolic equations
Sturmian comparison theorems are obtained for solutions of a class of normal and singular ultrahyperbolic partial differential equations. In the singular case, solutions are considered which satisfy non-standard boundary conditions.

A numerical model resulting from irreversible thermodynamics for describing transport processes is introduced, focusing on thermodynamic activity gradients as the actual driving force for diffusion. Implemented in CUDA C++ and using CalPhaD methods for determining the necessary activity data, the model accurately simulates interdiffusion in aluminum ...

Singular solutions to Protter's problem for the 3-D wave equation involving lower order terms
In 1952, at a conference in New York, Protter formulated some boundary value problems for the wave equation, which are three-dimensional analogues of the Darboux problems (or Cauchy-Goursat problems) on the plane.
