Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.

Impact of water washing precipitator dust on the particulate composition and dioxins in sintering flue gas

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2018
Sintering is an important process for the smelting of iron and steel for ironmaking in a blast furnace. However, the sintering process emits air pollutants in the sintering flue gas, especially fine particles and dioxins. In order to study the effects of

Field‐Programmed Anisotropy in Magneto‐Piezoelectric Composites for Material‐Encoded Mechanoperception

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Field‐programmed anisotropy imparts material‐level intelligence to soft composites. Magnetic torque dynamics drive magneto‐piezoelectric nanowires from random dispersion into deterministic axial alignment. The resulting hierarchical percolation networks confine electromechanical coupling to specific axes and intrinsically decouple superposed force ...

Effects of sintering temperature on W-Mo-Cu alloy prepared by large current electric field sintering

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2019
The W-Mo-Cu alloy was rapidly prepared by a large current electric field sintering method at 875-1000℃. Effect of sintering temperature on microstructure, hardness and electrical conductivity was investigated. Based on the dimensional change during alloy

High‐Entropy Ceramic‐Enhanced Deformable Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Noncontact Biomechanical and Raindrop Energy Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A large‐area, deformable high‐entropy‐ceramic (HEC)‐doped triboelectric nanogenerator with a trilayer architecture is developed, consisting of an HEC‐doped triboelectric layer, a graphite‐like textile charge‐storage layer, and stretchable carbon black electrodes.

Preparation of boron carbide stainless steel composites by spark plasma sintering

open access: yesFenmo yejin jishu
The B4C-stainless steel composites with B4C mass fraction of 4.00% were prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS) method, using B4C microspheres and 304 stainless steel powders as the raw materials. The density of the composites was tested by the drainage
