Effective Sintering Aids for Low-temperature Sintering of AlN Ceramics
Journal of Materials Research, 1999A disappearing sintering aid was used to promote densification during the initial and middle stages of sintering and to be removed in gaseous form from the specimens during the final stage of sintering. From thermodynamic consideration such as assessment of Gibbs free energy change of formation of Al2O3 compounds including metal-oxide and evaluation of

The Properties of Cu Sinter Paste for Pressure Sintering at Low Temperature
2019 IEEE 69th Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC), 2019This study introduces a newly developed pressure type Cu sinter paste as a joining material substituting for Ag and our investigation into its joining properties and reliability. The Cu sinter paste we developed as a filler by using low temperature sinterable copper particles was able to be sintered at 280°C from 5 to 20 minutes.

Temperature–Pressure‐Sintering (TPS) diagram approach for sintering of silicon
Materials Letters, 2012Abstract Temperature–(water vapor) Pressure‐Sintering (TPS) diagrams were established to control the microstructure evolution and densification during sintering of silicon. Experiments were performed under controlled humidified atmospheres and corroborated diagram predictions.

Low-temperature sintering of ZrW2O8–SiO2 by spark plasma sintering
Journal of Materials Science, 2009Amorphous ZrW2O8 powder and amorphous SiO2 powder were prepared by a sol–gel process as raw materials, and high-density ZrW2O8–SiO2 were successfully prepared at a much lower temperature of 923 K for a much shorter holding time of 10 min by spark plasma sintering (SPS) method rather than by conventional melt-quenching method.

Low Temperature Sintering of YIG Using Microwave Sintering Method
Integrated Ferroelectrics, 2010The pure YIG samples were prepared using microwave sintering method. The samples were sintered by using two types of sintering methods conventional and microwave. The sintered samples were characterized using XRD and SEM. The microwave sintering method was observed to be superior to conventional sintering process in the densification of pure YIG ...

Effect of sintering temperature on the characteristics of sludge ceramsite
Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2008In order to investigate the effect of sintering temperature on the characteristics of sludge ceramsite and find an optimal sintering temperature, dried sewage sludge, clay, and water glass were mixed at ratios of dried sewage sludge/clay=33% and water glass/clay=15%.
