Sinus floor elevation using tricalcium phosphate plate
When the sinus is enlarged, it may be necessary to elevate the floor of the maxillary sinus using the crestal or lateral approach. This report presents a case where sinus floor elevation was performed using tricalcium phosphate (TCP) plates supported by implant bodies, and only the blood clot was present around the implant bodies.

An injectable gelatin‐based tannic acid–iron hydrogel with mild photothermal therapy could not only induce immunogenic cell death, but also elicit ferroptosis of both tumor cells and tumor‐associated macrophages, resulting in DC maturation, T‐cell infiltration and down‐regulation of ferroptosis‐sensitive M2‐type TAMs levels.

Neuronal activation leads to astrocytic transient volume changes, activating transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) channels, leading to Ca2+ influx. Activation of TRPA1 causes the release of D‐serine through BEST1. Finally, the augmented extracellular levels of D‐serine boost neuronal activity by binding GluN1‐containing NMDARs, leading to CBV

Chiral virus‐mimicking mesoporous silica nanostructures (CVSNs) efficiently transport diverse antibiotics across the blood–brain barrier (BBB) into brain parenchyma and cerebrospinal fluid. By enhancing delivery to microglia and astrocytes, CVSNs improve antibiotic bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy against both Gram‐negative and Gram‐positive ...

ABSTRACT Turner syndrome (TS) is associated with thoracic aortopathy and increased risk for aortic dissection, yet the natural history of aortic dilation is not well understood. We performed a retrospective longitudinal study of individuals with TS who participated in the TS Society of the United States Healthy Heart Project between 2003 and 2023 ...
