Thin-Walled Structures, 2021Abstract In this study, the Ultimate Patch loading Capacity (UPLC) of Sinusoidal Corrugated Web Beams (SCWBs) is investigated. First, a series of experimental tests on fifteen girders is performed. Then, a numerical model based on nonlinear finite element for simulation of the behavior of SCWBs under patch loadings is introduced.
