Phase Equilibria Studies in the CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 System with Al2O3/SiO2 Weight Ratio of 0.4
With the raw materials for ironmaking becoming increasingly complex, more accurate phase equilibrium information on the slag is needed to refine the blast furnace operation to reduce the energy cost and CO2 emissions. CaO-SiO2-Al2O3-MgO is a basic system

PdBI sub-arcsecond study of the SiO microjet in HH212 - Origin and collimation of Class 0 jets
The bipolar HH 212 outflow has been mapped in SiO using the extended configuration of the Plateau de Bure Interferometer (PdBI), revealing a highly collimated SiO jet closely associated with the H2 jet component.

Relation of SiO maser emission to IR radiation in evolved stars based on the MSX observation [PDF]
Based on the space MSX observation in bands A(8$\mu$m), C(12$\mu$m), D(15$\mu$m) and E(21$\mu$m), and the ground SiO maser observation of evolved stars by the Nobeyama 45-m telescope in the v=1 and v=2 J=1-0 transitions, the relation between SiO maser ...

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.

Inhibitory Effects of Cu2O/SiO2 on the Growth of Microcystis aeruginosa and Its Mechanism
In this study, a novel nanomaterial Cu2O/SiO2 was synthesized based on nano-SiO2, and the inhibitory effects of different concentrations of Cu2O/SiO2 on the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa (M. aeruginosa) were studied. At the same time, the mechanism of

A thin silicon oxide (SiOx) layer (thickness: 1.5–2.0 nm) formed at an Al2O3/Si interface can enhance the interface properties. However, it is challenging to control the characteristics of thin SiOx layers because SiOx forms naturally during Al2O3 ...

High resolution observations of SiO masers: comparing the spatial distribution at 43 and 86 GHz
We present sub-milliarcsecond observations of SiO masers in the late-type stars IRC +10011 and Chi Cyg. We have used the NRAO Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) to map the 43 GHz (v=1, 2 J=1-0) and the 86 GHz (v=1, 2 J=2-1) SiO masers.

The complex dust formation zone of the AGB star IRC+10216 probed with CARMA 0.25 arcsec angular resolution molecular observations [PDF]
We present low spectral resolution molecular interferometric observations at 1.2 mm obtained with the Combined Array for Research in Millimetre-wave Astronomy (CARMA) towards the C-rich AGB star IRC+10216.

Integrated Au nanosheet sensor array enables simultaneous inference of gas concentration and flow rate via deep neural network analysis, without external flow control. ABSTRACT Gas sensor responses are considerably affected by gas flow rates, thereby inhibiting the accurate detection of target gas concentrations in variable‐flow applications such as ...
