Responses of Soil Arthropod Communities to Varying Shading Levels in Agriphotovoltaic Systems

Soil fauna was primarily influenced by crop type and season rather than AgriPhotovoltaic (APV) panels. Elevated panels increased soil temperature and soil organic matter in early wheat stages, while shading enhanced soil moisture for tomatoes, benefiting moisture‐sensitive taxa.

Stable Isotope Analysis as a Tool to Prevent Illicit Wildlife Trade of Songbirds in Brazil

Feather isotopes provide clear differences between wild and captive songbirds in Brazil. Combining multiple isotopes improved classification accuracy and revealed individuals falsely declared as captive‐bred. Starvation duration alters predatory behaviour of Eriopis connexa, affecting aphid consumption and survival dynamics. Increased starvation enhances attack rate, accelerating prey depletion without substantially affecting handling time. Functional response remains type II, with stronger predation under prolonged food deprivation.
