In this paper, we present a method to correct the amplitud distorsion produced by a non linear system. First of all it is shown how this correction can be achieved making use of a least square error criterium by means of a polynomical function. An adaptive method is also studied and a discussion of the convergence condition is made.

Comparative study on nutraceutical and sensorial characteristics of saffron (Crocus sativus L.) cultivated in Iran, Spain, and Türkiye

Abstract BACKGROUND Quality properties of 14 saffron samples from Iran, Spain, and Türkiye were compared. RESULTS Significant differences were observed between anthocyanins, volatile compounds, fatty acids, total phenolic content, and antioxidant activity of saffron samples (P < 0.05). Besides, significant differences in color parameters were observed.
