Multi-site breathers in Klein-Gordon lattices: stability, resonances, and bifurcations [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinearity 25 (2012) 3423-3451, 2011
We prove the most general theorem about spectral stability of multi-site breathers in the discrete Klein-Gordon equation with a small coupling constant. In the anti-continuum limit, multi-site breathers represent excited oscillations at different sites of the lattice separated by a number of "holes" (sites at rest).

Boosting Oxygen Reduction of Single Iron Active Sites via Geometric and Electronic Engineering: Nitrogen and Phosphorus Dual-Coordination.

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2020
Atomically dispersed transition metal active sites have emerged as one of the most important fields of study because they display promising performance in catalysis and have potential to serve as ideal models for fundamental understanding. How-ever, both

Discussion on the environmental adaptability of weather-resistant measures for earthen sites in China

open access: yesBuilt Heritage, 2022
Earthen sites are important remains of past human societies. Weather-resistant measures comprise a major part of conservation efforts for earthen sites. Marked advancements in weather-resistant techniques have been made in recent years. Earthen sites are

Human microRNA genes are frequently located at fragile sites and genomic regions involved in cancers.

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, 2004
A large number of tiny noncoding RNAs have been cloned and named microRNAs (miRs). Recently, we have reported that miR-15a and miR-16a, located at 13q14, are frequently deleted and/or down-regulated in patients with B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a
