2023We hereby present a case of situs inversus totalis in a 43 year old immune-compromised female patient referred to the Radiology Dept of the Nigerian Air Force Hospital Makurdi, Benue State, North Central part of Nigeria. Patient was referred for chest x-ray and abdominal ultrasound on a suspicion of mitotic disease.

Situs inversus totalis and congenital hypoglossia
Clinical Dysmorphology, 2001Hypoglossia is a rare congenital malformation, occurring either as an isolated malformation or in association with other deformities, particularly limb defects. We describe a female infant with congenital hypoglossia, micrognathia and situs inversus.

Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in Situs Inversus Totalis
Journal of Laparoendoscopic Surgery, 1992A 51-year-old woman with known dextrocardia presented with left-sided abdominal pain and symptoms consistent with biliary colic and cholelithiasis. Abdominal ultrasound confirmed the diagnosis of gallstones, as well as situs inversus with the liver and gallbladder on the left side and the spleen on the right.
