Mitogenome structure and phylogenomics of the order Thoreales (Nemaliophycidae, Rhodophyta)

open access: yesJournal of Phycology, EarlyView.
Abstract Organelle genomes offer a powerful tool for red algal evolutionary studies. Although the number of Rhodophyta genomes has increased substantially over the past 2 decades, only two mitochondrial genomes have been reported for the red algal order Thoreales.

Estimating the minimal cost of delivering nutrition‐specific and nutrition‐sensitive interventions in Ethiopia

open access: yesMaternal &Child Nutrition, EarlyView.
The minimum cost of the 10 years on identified nutrition‐specific and nutrition‐sensitive interventions of the National Food and Nutrition Strategy in Ethiopia is estimated to be US$ 2.55bn with an average annual cost of $250 million over 10 years (2021–2030), which is only 2.3% of the Ethiopian Annual GDP 111.27 billion US dollars in 2021 (World bank).

Theologies of Mind: Eriugena and Pratyabhijñā Śaivism

open access: yesModern Theology, EarlyView.
Abstract Though Eriugena's affinities with several Hindu traditions are clear, this article offers to my knowledge the first detailed discussion of Eriugena's theology in relation to any Indic theological school, here, the nondualist Śaiva tradition known as the Pratyabhijñā (“Recognition”) lineage.

Structure and kinematic evolution of the Southern Sivas Fold-Thrust Belt, Sivas Basin, Central Anatolia, Turkey

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Earth Sciences, 2019
The architecture, kinematics, and timing of fold-and-thrust belt development provide essential first-order constraints on the structural evolution of continental collision zones.

Plasmatic Profiling of Individuals With Combinations of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Dyslipidemia and Periodontitis: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesOral Diseases, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim The objective of this study was to investigate the global profile of plasmatic proteins of individuals affected simultaneously or not by type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM, well/poorly‐controlled), Dyslipidemia (DL), and Periodontitis (P). Methods Besides periodontal examination, plasma was collected for glycemic, and lipid analyses from 150 ...

Concurrent Measurement of O2 Production and Isoprene Emission During Photosynthesis: Pros, Cons and Metabolic Implications of Responses to Light, CO2 and Temperature

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Traditional leaf gas exchange experiments have focused on net CO2 exchange (Anet). Here, using California poplar (Populus trichocarpa), we coupled measurements of net oxygen production (NOP), isoprene emissions and δ18O in O2 to traditional CO2/H2O gas exchange with chlorophyll fluorescence, and measured light, CO2 and temperature response ...
