Association of Childhood Acute Leukemia With Autoimmune Diseases
A possible link exists between various pediatric autoimmune diseases (AIDs) and increased risk of childhood leukemia. Although immune dysregulation is a key feature of these conditions, the connection between them remains unclear. In this study, using cancer registry data in Finland, the authors examined associations between AIDs and childhood acute ...

Gene expression signatures from single‐cell transcriptomics predict Sjögren's syndrome
A machine learning‐based 12‐gene signature (SjS.Sig) was developed from scRNA‐seq data of PBMCs from Sjögren's syndrome patients. The model was validated using bulk RNA‐seq datasets and further confirmed through flow cytometry and qPCR analysis in an independent clinical cohort, demonstrating robust diagnostic potential.

Characterization of Pulmonary Functional Abnormalities in Systemic Sclerosis Using Xenon MRI
ABSTRACT Background Xenon MRI is increasingly used to evaluate patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and pulmonary hypertension (PH), both of which are common manifestations of systemic sclerosis (SSc). As such, Xe‐MRI may be suited to interrogate lung function impairment in SSc.

ABSTRACT Multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignant plasma cell disorder that primarily presents with CRAB symptoms (calcium elevation, renal failure, anemia, and bone abnormalities). In rare cases, MM manifests with systemic complications like skin ulcers, which present management challenges. Here, we report a 78‐year‐old Japanese man with MM and refractory

Nail Disorders in Systemic Conditions
ABSTRACT Nail findings in children can be indicative of an underlying systemic disease. Many of these findings are seen in multiple entities and are not specific to one disease. The importance of specifically examining for these nail changes cannot be overstated.

TRIM Expression and Its Association With Disease Activity in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
ABSTRACT Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease with diverse manifestations, including rash, arthritis, and nephritis. Although autoantibodies are a key feature of SLE, their levels often poorly reflect disease severity, suggesting the involvement of additional contributing factors.
