Molar Uprighting Using Mini-Screws after Distalization by the Pendulum Appliance: A Case Report [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dental Materials and Techniques, 2013
A 16-year-old Class II female patient was treated without tooth extraction. The upper first molars were distalized by the Pendulum appliance. After six months, the molars tipped significantly to the distal.

Intrusion of Overerupted Molars by Corticotomy and Orthodontic Skeletal Anchorage

open access: yesThe Angle Orthodontist, 2007
AbstractThis article describes the orthodontic treatment of a 26-year-old female patient with overerupted left maxillary molar teeth. Her chief complaint was that the maxillary left first and the second molar intruded into the space required for the mandibular left first and the second molars, preventing prosthodontic treatment. The authors performed a

Borate‐Water‐Based 3D‐Slime Interface Quasi‐Solid Electrolytes for Li‐ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This advanced material, composed of lithium borate, lithium salt, and water, is a quasi‐solid that can be handled in air and has a 3D‐conducting‐interface network (3D‐Slime‐Interface Quasi‐Solid Electrolytes: 3D‐SLISE). The 3D‐SLISE is nonflammable and can be used in lithium‐ion batteries, and its water solubility allows direct recycling of active ...

Constructing Asymmetric Sn‐Cu‐C Interface via Defective Carbon Trapped Atomic Clusters for Efficient Neutral Nitrate Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work constructs asymmetric Sn‐Cu‐C interface via anchoring SnCu atomic clusters on carbon defects. Such as‐synthesized SnCu‐DG catalyst achieves a high NH3 Faradaic efficiency (99.5%) and a record intrinsic activity of 2.61 × 10−17 mmol h−1 siteCu−1 at neutral electrolyte condition.
