Enhancing Stability of Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells via Buried Interface Modification Using In‐Situ Crosslinked Thiol‐Ene Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Two crosslinkable molecules are introduced into the buried interface of perovskite to regulate the interfacial contact between [2‐(3,6‐dimethoxy‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)ethyl]phosphonic acid and perovskite. The cross‐linked interfacial layer can control the crystallization process of the perovskite thin film and adjust the energy level alignment.

Sensor‐Embedded Muscle for Closed‐Loop Controllable Actuation in Proprioceptive Biohybrid Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Skeletal muscle tissue‐based bioactuators move in response to externally applied electrical stimuli in open‐loop control, which lacks knowledge of the actuator's state. Herein, a soft and fiber‐shaped piezoresistive mechanosensor that integrates with the soft tissue and operates in the cell culture environment is used to create the first proprioceptive

Skin‐Covered Biohybrid Robotic Finger with Bilayered Permeable Subcutaneous Support for Internal Hydration Supplement

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A bilayered permeable subcutaneous support system is developed to address the hydration challenge in skin‐covered biohybrid robots. Consisting of a perforated skeletal layer and a sponge‐like polyvinyl alcohol hydrogel, the system enables fluid flow, nutrient diffusion, and mechanical support.

Harnessing Pyridinic N Vacancy Defect in Microporous Structures to Induce the Pre‐Adsorption of Oxygen and Boost Oxygen Reduction Reaction Kinetics

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
This study confirms the role of O2 pre‐adsorption on Fe‐N‐C SACs, a mechanism previously only predicted by theoretical calculations. The results show that the interaction between O2 molecules and pyridinic N vacancy defects shifts the d‐band center of the central Fe atom away from the Fermi level, thereby facilitating the ORR kinetics.
