SKEW LAURENT POLYNOMIAL EXTENSIONS OF BAER AND P.P.-RINGS
Let R be a ring and fi a monomorphism of R. We study the skew Laurent polynomial rings R(x,x i1 ;fi) over an fi-skew Armendariz ring R. We show that, if R is an fi-skew Armendariz ring, then R is a Baer (resp. p.p.-)ring if and only if R(x,x i1 ;fi) is a Baer (resp. p.p.-) ring. Consequently, if R is an Armendariz ring, then R is a Baer (resp.

EFSA scientific report on dietary exposure to lead in the European population
Abstract Following a request of the European Commission and the need for a joint assessment identified by the European Environmental Agency, the EFSA estimated the chronic dietary exposure to lead in the European population, updating the results of the 2012 assessment.

The $q$-difference Noether problem for complex reflection groups and quantum OGZ algebras
For any complex reflection group $G=G(m,p,n)$, we prove that the $G$-invariants of the division ring of fractions of the $n$:th tensor power of the quantum plane is a quantum Weyl field and give explicit parameters for this quantum Weyl field. This shows

On the dimension of H-strata in quantum matrices
We study the topology of the prime spectrum of an algebra supporting a rational torus action. More precisely, we study inclusions between prime ideals that are torus-invariant using the $H$-stratification theory of Goodearl and Letzter on one hand and ...

A multi‐parameter‐tunable, all‐metallic, low‐loss, wave‐chaotic cavity enables a frequency‐insensitive (over a 7 GHz bandwidth) technique to synthesize desired transfer functions within smaller windows to high accuracy and with complete reconfigurability of shapes and center frequencies.

Simplicity of non-associative skew Laurent polynomial rings
AbstractWe introduce non-associative skew Laurent polynomial rings and characterize when they are simple. Thereby, we generalize results by Jordan, Voskoglou, and Nystedt and Öinert.

Abstract Normotensive African Americans (AAs) show attenuated vascular responses and reduced nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability compared to European Americans (EAs). Few studies have used diverse measures to examine differences in macrovascular function and structure in individuals with a family history of CV disease (CVD). We assessed 150 AAs (Mage, 23.

The mixed causal‐non‐causal invertible‐non‐invertible autoregressive moving‐average (MARMA) models have the advantage of incorporating roots inside the unit circle, thus adjusting the dynamics of financial returns that depend on future expectations. This article introduces new techniques for estimating, identifying and simulating MARMA models. Although
