Cadmium and Zinc‐Doped p‐type Sb2Se3 Single Crystals and Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Cd and Zn were assessed as candidate p‐type dopants in Sb2Se3 single crystals in concentrations between 1016‐1020 cm−3. Both are effective in inducing p‐type conductivity, however Cd doped crystals exhibit lower resistivity across a wider range of dopant levels.

Return and Volatility Spillovers Among Major Cotton Markets

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study explores return and volatility transmission among major cotton markets. Several events have disrupted cotton supply and demand in recent years, leading to heightened price volatility and significant shifts in market interconnections.

Simulation Analysis of Skew Collision of Needle Roller Bearing Used in Precision Cycloid Reducer

open access: yesMachines, 2023
In order to improve the service life of the needle roller bearing used in a precision cycloid reducer, and to reveal the skew and collision phenomenon of the needle roller bearing, based on the force analysis of the transmission mechanism of the cycloid ...

Stochastic Spot/Volatility Correlation in Stochastic Volatility Models and Barrier Option Pricing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Most models for barrier pricing are designed to let a market maker tune the model-implied covariance between moves in the asset spot price and moves in the implied volatility skew.

The influence of the inter-particle sliding, rolling and torsion resistance on the skew-symmetric stress of sheared granular materials [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
Granular materials are made of discrete particles that interact with each other through their contacts (forces and torques). On the example of a particle simulation of a Cartesian (planar) split-bottom shear cell, we show the effect of microscopic ...

Coding for skew-tolerant parallel asynchronous communications [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
A communication channel consisting of several subchannels transmitting simultaneously and asynchronously is considered, an example being a board with several chips, where the subchannels are wires connecting the chips and differences in the lengths of ...

On the Routh sphere problem

open access: yes, 2012
We discuss an embedding of a vector field for the nonholonomic Routh sphere into a subgroup of commuting Hamiltonian vector fields on six dimensional phase space. The corresponding Poisson brackets are reduced to the canonical Poisson brackets on the Lie

Quantitative analysis of replication-related mutation and selection pressures in bacterial chromosomes and plasmids using generalised GC skew index

open access: yesBMC Genomics, 2009
Background Due to their bi-directional replication machinery starting from a single finite origin, bacterial genomes show characteristic nucleotide compositional bias between the two replichores, which can be visualised through GC skew or (C-G)/(C+G ...
