Global Change Biology Communications, Volume 1, Issue 3, September 2026.Climate‐induced vegetation greening (NDVImax) stimulated C‐sequestration in subarctic catchments by 10%–85% during the last decades. Increases in weathering and declines in non‐marine SO4 atmospheric deposits were identified as the main drivers of decadal increases in inorganic C (ICalk) run‐off to subarctic lakes.
