Temperature Coefficient Analysis of Polycrystalline PV Modules Under Field Conditions in Ghana

Field measurements from a commercial PV plant in Ghana show polycrystalline module temperature coefficients of −0.473%/°C—31% higher than manufacturer values—highlighting the risk of underestimating energy losses and degradation in fast‐growing West African solar deployments.

Spatiotemporal Changes and Climate Driving Factors of Compound Precipitation‐Temperature Extreme Events Across Global Land Areas

During the period 1901–2024, the dominant proportion of compound dry‐warm extremes in annual, June–July–August (JJA), and December–January–February (DJF) occurrences was the highest among the four types of compound precipitation and temperature extremes across global land areas, accounting for 40.1%, 50.3%, and 28.0%, respectively.

Global citizenship plays an important role in today's schools. Many subjects taught in schools have already incorporated such ideas. Science and physics have also followed suit. However, when dealing with astronomy - a topic so seemingly far removed from society - it becomes difficult to imagine any links with global citizenship.
