Efficiency Evaluation of Skilled Nursing Facilities

Admissions to Skilled Nursing Facilities From Assisted Living Facilities

Minimum Data Set data from 15,977 residents were analyzed to investigate the reasons older adults were admitted to skilled nursing facilities from assisted living facilities. Residents admitted from assisted living facilities, private homes, hospitals, and hospitals with previous assisted living facility residence were compared.
