The hydrophobicity of low‐loss self‐assembled monolayer, [4‐(3,6‐dimethyl‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)butyl]phosphonic acid (Me‐4PACz), impacts device reproducibility. Herein, the use of Al2O3 nanoparticles to pin the perovskite is demonstrated, which leads to improved wettability of the perovskite on Me‐4PACz.

Herein, a new method is developed by combining scanning Kelvin probe force microscopy measurements with finite‐element modeling, studying the hydrogen atom diffusion and distribution in ferrite and bainite phases contained in X80 pipeline steel. The hydrogen atom concentrations in lattice and trap sites in the two phases are determined.

Hydrogen evolution is observed by means of in situ atomic force microscopy at the buried interface of an epoxy‐like thin film and AA2024‐T3 aluminum alloy at the vicinity of Mg‐containing intermetallic particles (IMPs). The presence of a thin coating limits the dissolution of the corrosion products into the electrolyte and thus, enables the ...
