Self‐Spiking Linear Neuromorphic Soft Pressure Sensor for Underwater Sensing Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel design of a neuromorphic pressure sensor that can generate self‐spiking symmetric signals with direct event‐based encoding through the integration of magnetic spheres and alternating coil circuits. The key advantages of this work include high linearity up to 200 kPa (R2 = 0.997), self‐spiking behavior for simplified signal ...

Eliminating the Second-Order Time Dependence from the Time Dependent Schrödinger Equation Using Recursive Fourier Transforms

open access: yesQuantum Reports
A strategy is developed for writing the time-dependent Schrödinger Equation (TDSE), and more generally the Dyson Series, as a convolution equation using recursive Fourier transforms, thereby decoupling the second-order integral from the first without ...

Direct Photopatterning of Green Solvent‐Processed 2D Nanomaterials for Wafer‐Scale Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A photocross‐linking strategy is proposed for the patterning and integration of scalable vertical van der Waals heterostructures such as field‐effect transistors, logic gates, and memory devices composed of 2D nanomaterials by UV light‐sensitive cross‐linker in isopropyl alcohol.

Accompanying Structural Transformations in Polarity Switching of Heavily Doped Conjugated Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The polarity switching of heavily doped p‐type conjugated polymers (CPs) toward environmentally stable electron‐rich thin films is demonstrated. Multiscale analyses, incorporating spectroscopic, electrochemical, and scattering techniques, reveal structural and chemical transformations induced by excessive doping with AuCl3.

Paving the Way for Next‐Generation All‐Solid‐State Batteries: Dry Electrode Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The dry‐electrode process offers a highly efficient solution to the key challenges faced by all‐solid‐state batteries, including complex processing, high CO2 emissions, interfacial instability, toxicity, and limited energy density. This perspective outlines the critical challenges of implementing the dry electrode process from material fundamentals to ...
