Triplet–Triplet Annihilation Photon Upconversion Toward UVC Energy Generation Using TIPS‐Benzene and a Heptazine Derivative

The TTA‐UC from visible/UVA to UVB/C is demonstrated by combining a heptazine derivative with TIPS‐benzene‐based emitters. Wrinkle‐Template Confinement of Kinetically Arrested Cellulose Nanocrystals for Sustainable Large Scale Reflection Gratings

Self‐supported all‐cellulose reflective gratings are fabricated from cellulose nanocrystal dispersions via a confinement printing process. Taking advantage of the reduced fluidity of concentrated, kinetically arrested cellulose nanocrystal dispersions, line arrays can be successfully transferred to dried CNC films.

From Invisible to Visible: Pressure‐Responsive Photonic Crystals for Advanced Information Encryption

Multilayered composite materials are fabricated based on chiral nematic cellulose nanocrystals incorporated in a shape‐memory polymer matrix. Upon hot‐pressing, they consistently present initially hidden patterns/information with structural colors distinct from the background over multiple pressing‐recovery cycles.
