Edge instabilities and skyrmion creation in magnetic layers
We study both analytically and numerically the edge of two-dimensional ferromagnets with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions, considering both chiral magnets and magnets with interface-induced DM interactions.

Fractional Skyrmion Tubes in Chiral‐Interfaced 3D Magnetic Nanowires
In chiral 3D helical magnetic nanowires, the coupling between the geometric and magnetic chirality provides a way to create topological spin states like vortex tubes. Here, it is demonstrated how the breaking of this coupling in interfaced 3D nanowires of opposite chirality leads to even more complex topological spin states, such as fractional ...

Spin-Transfer Torques in Helimagnets
We theoretically investigate current-induced magnetization dynamics in chiral-lattice helimagnets. Spin-orbit coupling in non-centrosymmetric crystals induces a reactive spin-transfer torque that has not been previously considered. We demonstrate how the

Two‐photon lithography (TPL) enables 3D magnetic nanostructures with unmatched freedom in geometry and material choice. Advances in voxel control, deposition, and functionalization open pathways to artificial spin ices, racetracks, microrobots, and a number of additional technological applications.

Phase-diagram of condensed and isolated skyrmions in chiral magnetic films
Skyrmions in chiral magnetic films exist either in the isolated phase, confined within the sample, or the condensed phase, occupying it entirely. The stability of magnetic structures in generic perpendicularly magnetized chiral magnetic films is fully ...

Magnetostriction of helimagnets in the skyrmion crystal phase
We solve the magnetostriction strains for B20 helimagnets in the skyrmion crystal phase. By taking MnSi as an example, we reproduce its temperature–magnetic field ( T – B ) phase diagrams within a thermodynamic potential incorporating magnetoelastic ...

Liquid crystal Skyrmions can swim
Topologically nontrivial field configurations called "baby skyrmions" behave like particles and give origins to the field of skyrmionics that promises racetrack memory and other technological applications. Unraveling the non-equilibrium behavior of such topological solitons is a challenge. We realize baby skyrmions in a chiral liquid crystal and, using

Kaons in Dense Half-Skyrmion Matter
Dense hadronic matter at low temperature is expected to be in crystal and at high density make a transition to a {\em chirally restored but color-confined} state which is a novel phase hitherto unexplored.

Thickness‐Dependent Skyrmion Evolution in Fe3GeTe2 During Magnetization Reversal
Thickness‐ and field‐dependent magnetic domain behavior in 2D van der Waals Fe3GeTe2 is studied using Lorentz TEM and micromagnetic simulations. A patch‐like domain phase evolves from skyrmions during magnetization reversal, and step edges between thickness regions act as pinning sites.
